What happens during a fat transfer?
Usually, liposuction to some extent is performed. The fat is then processed on the back table and then injected through cannulas. Large volumes can be used such as in buttocks or breasts. Smaller volumes are used typically in facial surgeries such as facelifts where volume is needed for a more youthful look.
